2024 Charities

Thanks to your generous support of the 34th Annual Michelin Charity Golf Tournament in 2023, the following charities will receive additional funds as they serve the Upstate of S.C., Emporia, KS, Ft. Wayne, IN, Louisville, KY, Ardmore, OK and Norwood, NC communities.

Center for Developmental Services (CDS) makes caring for children with delays and disabilities easier and more effective by linking medical and support services in a single location. Their integrated service model streamlines service delivery to about 8,000 families each year.

Conestee Nature Preserve, is a 600+acre, state-designated Wildlife Sanctuary located just five miles south of downtown Greenville. We are an accessible oasis of natural beauty, and a hub for outdoor environmental education, within the most developed section of Greenville County. CNP includes over 13 miles of trails and boardwalks; 11 wildlife observation decks; and 40 self-guided learning stations. 

The Family Scholar House  The mission of Family Scholar House is to end the cycle of poverty and transform our community by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve life-long self-sufficiency.

St. Joseph Missions provides emergency shelter for single women from the homeless community in an environment that respects their dignity as human persons, affords them the opportunity to live individually and collectively with others in a safe environment of self-government, and empowers them to network with local business contacts and social services for employment and self-sufficiency.

SOS, Inc. provides advocacy and support for those affected by sexual and domestic violence, stalking, human trafficking, child abuse and neglect throughout a 5-county area. The organization provides shelter and a wide range of resources for victims and survivors, as well as educational programming for school and community organizations. SOS, Inc. is also the home of CASA of the Flint Hills, the Child Advocacy Center, and the Child Visitation and Exchange Center.

Upstate Mobility Alliance  An initiative of Ten at the Top, the Upstate Mobility advances policy and investment opportunties that make it easier to move freely throughout the region. Whether it's supporting efforts to expand public transportation, make daily commutes easier, or connect communities in innovative ways. UMA works across the sector to help make the Upstate of South Carolina more connected region.

Upstate Warrior Solution, Inc provides holistic services to around 1,200 Upstate South Carolina veterans, first responders, and their family members annually. Our long-term goals are to end warrior unemployment, homelessness, and suicide. 

The SC School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation supports the students at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind, who come from all 46 counties in South Carolina. Through the generosity of donors, students are provided with school supplies, clothing, sports equipment, musical instruments, books in accessible formats, and specialized, adaptive equipment for classroom learning and job training. Through education, the foundation seeks to build understanding, acceptance and support for persons with sensory disabilities so that they are able to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives of productivity and independence.

Sara's Project is a dedicated children’s advocacy center in Ardmore, OK that proudly serves Carter, Love, Marshall, Murray, and Johnston counties. Their unwavering mission is to provide education, collaboration, and victim advocacy to assist those facing crisis due to trauma, abuse, or loss. Sara’s Project offers direct services to children and families confronting allegations of child abuse and neglect, including forensic interviews, 1:1 advocacy, physical abuse and sexual assault examinations, court testimony, and access to essential necessities like clothing and hygienic items through its Advocacy in Motion Closet. In addition to these services, Sara’s project delivers crucial education on the topics of suicide prevention, internet safety, and child abuse multidisciplinary teams.

Tillery Compassionate Care has been able to provide care to nearly 7,600 seriously ill residents since 1981. At Tillery Compassionate Care, they spark inspiration, hope, and peace enabling individuals with serious illness to embrace their spirit of life. They are strategic and intentional with long range planning and prepared to embrace the challenges and opportunities resulting from the ever-changing healthcare landscape all while preserving and protecting their mission. Hospice of Stanly County, Inc. (dba, Tillery Compassionate Care) was founded through the grassroots efforts of people in the community and continues to be governed locally by a board of directors.
